You should have receive a Parentmail which outlines the updates on the new COVID isolation rules.From Monday, 17 January, anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will only need to isolate for 5 full days provided they test negative on an LFT on day 5 and day 6 of their isolation and do not have a temperature.Example:You test positive on 17th January. Day 5 is 22nd January - take an LFD test.Day 6 is 23rd January - take LFD test 24 hours after the last one.If both are negative, you can stop isolating immediately.We recommend that you take the LFTs early in the morning so that you can stop isolating and return to work or school that same day. ... It is really, really cold outside at the moment and looking like it will be for a while. Remember that we play outside for the whole of lunchtime, whatever the weather.Please make sure you send your child into school with a waterprooof coat, hats👲, gloves🧤, tights or leggings under skirts and scarves🧣. Remember to also pop an extra layer in their bag and spare T-shirts and bottoms incase they get muddy or wet.If you haven’t sent back their wellies they need them to play on the field or in the woodland and if your child DOES have waterproofs at home they can bring them in too!As always we thank you for your continued support. ...
