Cleaning Operative
Salary: Band 1 (SCP 3) £7681.42
Hours: 12.5 hours a week
(Monday – Friday 2.50pm – 5.20pm)
The Governors of Red Hall Primary School wish to appoint a cleaning operative to provide effective cleaning and facilities management support to the school, including ensuring that the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.
Cleaners perform a key role in our facilities team, supporting the Caretaker by ensuring the building is cleaned to a safe and high standard.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to a successful DBS clearance (certificate of disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring service) and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before an appointment is confirmed.

Teaching Assistant Apprentice

Red Hall Primary wishes to appoint an Early Years Apprentice to join our outstanding Early Years team
We are looking for someone who:
- Is interested in working with the youngest children in school (from 2- 4 years), and will support us in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in line with our school ethos
- Can provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating educational environment.
- Is interested in working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds and understand the concept that behaviour is a form of communication.
- Can interact with children and their parents or carers in a warm, positive manner.
- Has a passion for play.
- Is adaptive and reflective.
- Can work in line with the settings policies and procedures ensuring they are put into practice, including knowing how to deal with child protection/safeguarding issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies.
- Enjoys working as part of a dedicated and effective team.
