Amazing offer if you’re wanting to get out and about with your children this summer! ☀️ 😁🚌Kids go free on the buses during the school holidays! Throughout the school summer holidays, bus operators across Tees Valley are offering free bus travel for up to three children aged 11 and under, when travelling with an adult with a valid ticket or concessionary pass holder. It's a great time to get out and about by bus!Arriva and Stagecoach have also introduced the following service improvements:Arriva • Saturday daytime frequency to Skerne Park on service 3 increased to every 15 minutes. • Sunday service introduced on service 19 between Darlington and Faverdale Industrial Estate (part route as far as Faverdale North). • Following customer requests, later Monday to Saturday evening journeys between Darlington and Faverdale on service 1 at 10.10pm and 11.10pm.• Service 8/8A Darlington – Ferryhill/Spennymoor has a revised timetable to improve punctuality • Service X26/X27 - a revised timetable to help with punctuality in the afternoon peaks, evenings, and Sundays. The peak hour extensions to and from Marne Barracks on service X26 will no longer operate because of low passenger numbers. • Introduction of an earlier Sunday morning journey on the X66 departing at 7.25am from Darlington to Middlesbrough. There are also minor revisions to timings on Monday – Friday afternoons to improve punctuality. Stagecoach • Service 6/6A has been amended to operate the full length of Neasham Road once per hour. This will provide a direct service to the growing development near the Darlington Arena and direct links between Hurworth and the railway station. The 6/6A will continue to serve Grange Road on an hourly basis (and will also continue to be served by Hodgsons services 34 and 72). The timetables at bus stops may not show the new times until the end of August so please check bus times at travelinenortheast.info/ before travelling. ... See MoreSee Less
