EYFS – Topic ‘This is me’.

October 22, 2020

On Thursday we are celebrating the end of our topic ‘This is me’.

To celebrate we are doing lots of things that make the children who they are, celebrating what they enjoy and praising what they do well.

We will be watching parts of their favourite programs, dancing to their favourite songs, eating their favourite foods and playing their favourite games. As part of the celebrations we are allowing the children to wear their favourite clothing and bringing in one of their favourite toys.

The child must keep this toy in their bag to bring to school and unfortunately can’t share this with their friends but we will be showing them for show and tell.

To finish the topic PLEASE could they also bring in any favourite photographs before Thursday of their family, friends and of them as a baby or on holiday so we can make a power-point presentation of these to show them.

Thank you

Miss Egglestone

Happy Last Day of Term! 🥳A polite reminder for grown ups to complete the feedback form, which was sent last week on ParentMail, today is the last day to do this.We appreciate all comments - the negative ones, so we know what we need to work on and the positive ones, which really make us smile and remind us of why we do our jobs! Please take 5 mins to complete this. Thank you ♥️ ... See MoreSee Less

Another successful sleepover last night! 🥳We will have some sleepy children (and staff!! 🤣) today! Everyone’s had breakfast and they’re now in class! Thank you to everyone who supported this. We raised £350, which will go towards reducing the cost of trips in Year 5 and 6 for the Summer term! 😊Huge thank you to Miss Henry for helping with tea and Mr Johnston for coming after his football match to stay overnight. An even bigger thank you to Miss Hayman, Miss Waters and Miss Snowdon who stayed and supported with everything! So lucky to have you! ♥️Right…. How many hours until bedtime…..? 😴😂 ...
