Proud of “OUR” School
The main reason for wearing school uniform is to give children the feeling of belonging and to identify themselves with the school. It also eases the pressure that children can put on parents and on each other to provide the latest fashion in clothes and shoes.
Our Active Uniform
Following on from our recent survey, where the results showed that 92% of parent/carers, 96% of staff and 100% of children agreed with a change, our school will move to an active uniform from September 2025.
The new uniform will consist of the below requirements which the children will wear every day:
- A red sweatshirt or hoody (overhead or zipped).
- A white polo shirt (not t-shirt).
- Plain black jogging bottoms or leggings (these must be all black, no stripes or tracksuit designs).
- ALL black or ALL white trainers.
- In warmer weather, children can wear black shorts or skorts.
We do not require the items above to have the school logo on them, however if you do wish to do this you are more than welcome.
We hope that this new uniform change will;
- Be more comfortable for our children throughout the day; creating a better learning environment and experience
- Create equality for all
- Maximise learning time and the opportunities to participate in outdoor and active learning.
- Be more cost effective for our families
