A MOMENT IN TIME

September 28, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Dear Parents and Carers

 

To celebrate the life of our beloved Queen and to mark this moment in history witnessing a king to the throne.

 

WE WISH TO CELEBRATE THIS MOMENT IN TIME……

 

There will also be a charity collection for Cancer Research and Macmillan.

Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Cakes for sale

 

ACTIVITIES

Children’s books showcasing work done around the Queen – this can be any lesson from English to Art.

 

Children’s table to colour in a picture of the Queen and take home.

A book of remembrance for either the Queen or this moment in time recognising a King has taken the throne.

Decorate own biscuits to take home or eat there (red, white and blue icing)

 

TIMELINE OF EVENT

4pm – Doors open 4:30 – Children from Y6 reading their poems about the Queen

4:50 – 5:10 (ish) – Choir singing

5:30 – Doors close

 

There will be a powerpoint of the Queen through the ages playing in the background, that children from Y5 will have made together.
